CLAIRE WILSON

Winemaker

Growing up on a small Zinfandel vineyard in the heart of the Napa Valley, Claire was surrounded by people who appreciated the value of building community through sharing great meals and wine. Her mother, whose skills include cooking and farming, instilled the importance of hard work and hospitality from a young age. Claire headed to the Central Coast where she studied Event Management at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. After working as an adventure travel guide for Backroads, Claire realized her passions always led her back to food and wine. She then decided to solely pursue winemaking and participated in harvests in Australia, South Africa, and various parts of California. She landed her dream job as a winemaking apprentice at Domaine de La Cote in 2019. The rest came naturally. She has continued to learn and grow into a winemaker role for Provignage. Outside of the winery, she loves to cook, have friends over for dinner, play bocce, run, and do yoga. Her little dog Oso comes to the winery daily and is her number one cellar assistant.
